So very sorry to have heard of Georgie's passing. Linda and I had lived across the alley from the Bevers and always enjoyed our time visiting. We were able to see Georgie about 5 years ago when she was in Wichita. She has always been a hard worker, and strong in her faith. Linda helped her paint some rooms in Joe and Georgie's house. We did a few other home repairs and for that she gave us both a pair of golf shoes when they owned a shoe store in Scott City. To the extended family, please except our sincere condolences. We got to know Georgie when we lived in Scott City in the same apartment bldg. My parents, Leo and Peg Kleymann knew Joe from Tribune. Georgie was very special and a good friend
I am saddened to read of the passing of Mrs. Bever. She and Joe were friends of my dad, Louis Zirkel, for many years. I'm not even sure how they all met, but I know that after Georgie and Joe moved to Arizona, dad made several trips out to visit them, and they would visit dad in Garden City whenever they were around. My sympathies to all the family. God bless.
