We look at an addressed envelope that was never mailed. An enclosed note of encouragement to Dennis that was never sent...like so many things in life, we put off and put off things that should be done without hesitation. A phone call, a note, a visit.
We are so sorry that Dennis's life was shortened by this terrible disease that takes so many of our loved ones. Memories are a wonderful consolation, but certainly not as good as the real thing. Our selfishness wants to keep our loved one near and makes it hard to say good-bye...Dennis will be remembered for his smile, his orneriness, and personality that knew no stranger.
Our sympathy and thoughts are with all of you. We are so sorry for your loss.
