Dear Gary, Berneice, Marilyn and families, We are so sorry for your loss of Carol, but know that she is in a wonderful place and is in so much better health than she could be here on Earth with us. I am sorry that Carol has passed. She was a friend to me especially when I was teaching special ed in Garden City. She loved to take credit for recruiting me to work there. And she was always very helpful when I had questions about what to do and when and where to do it! She will be greatly missed.

I was sadden to hear of Carol's passing. I will always be thankful that our girls knew of such a kind, gentle and giving person and could aspire to be like her. Carol was a wonderful caring friend. We had time to catch up in the last two weeks, laugh, cry and just spend time together. God knew it was time for her to be in his arms. As with many lifelong friends, close contact waxes and wanes, There were many years we never saw each other but then we would reconnect, sharing old and new memories. That is the way it has been with Carol and I. I was privileged to be able to travel with Carol to England, she was a great travel companion and we shared a wonderful time. Carol was one of the nicest and sincere ladies that I have ever known. She never let on that she was having any physical or personal issues and always concerned about everyone else around her. I am going to miss that smile and laugh and her friendship. I know that she is finally whole again and her kidneys are like new now and that she is rejoicing with her Mom and Dad once again. She loved those great nieces and nephew so much. Her whole face and body would glow when she talked about them. My prayers and hugs are with you all during this very difficult time.
