Obituary of Eileen Mary Gardner

Eileen Mary Gardner, age 82, died Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at the Garden Valley Retirement Village in Garden City, Kansas. She was born on January 9, 1932 in High Wycombe, England the daughter of Edward & Rose Plumridge Addis. A resident of Garden City since 1970, she was a hostess & cashier at K-Bob’s Steak House. She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Garden City, Kansas. On April 4, 1959 she married Samuel M. Gardner in High Wycombe, England. He survives. Other Survivors Include: A Son, Richard J. Gardner of Denver, Colorado; Two Daughters-In-Law, Susan K. Marshall of Denver, Colorado and Laquita Gruver of Amarillo, Texas; Four Grandchildren and Five Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Samuel Gardner Jr and a sister, Mary Cook. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30am on Friday, September 26, 2014 at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas. Friends may call from 1:00-5:00pm on Thursday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas. Interment will be held at the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas. Memorials be given to the Eileen Gardner Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City.
