Obituary of Barbara Marcellee Clark

Barbara Marcellee Clark, age 86, passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2014 at Wichita County Long Term Care in Leoti, Kansas. Marcellee was born August 16, 1928 at Crisfield, Kansas, the daughter of William Boy and Pauline Loda Avery Crow. A Leoti resident since 2004 moving from Tribune, Kansas, she was a homemaker and school bus driver. Marcelee was a member of the United Methodist Church in Leoti, Kansas and Rebekah Lodge in Tribune, Kansas. On September 27, 1945 she married Leonard Jay Clark at Kingman, Kansas. Jay passed away on April 15, 2005 in Leoti, Kansas. Marcelee’s surviving family includes- Her daughter- Twilla & Dan Nickelson- Leoti, Kansas Daughter in law- Jerry Clark-Laneer- Dodge City, Kansas Six Grandchildren- Mike & Diane Nickelson- Leoti, Kansas Allen & Kimberly Nickelson- Penokee, Kansas Teresa & Kevin Clark- Leoti, Kansas Karen Pryor- Carbondale, Kansas Steven & Kelly Clark- Fowler, Kansas Jason & Shari Clark- Overland Park, Kansas One brother- Charles & Vera Crow- Caldwell, Kansas Twenty Great Grandchildren and one Great Great Grandchild Her parents, and a son, Nick Clark also precede her in death. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, September 4, 2014 at the United Methodist Church in Leoti, Kansas with the Reverend Brad Kirk officiating. Burial will be in Leoti Cemetery in Leoti, Kansas. Friends may call from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm Wednesday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Leoti, Kansas. Memorials may be given to the United Methodist Church, Leoti EMS or Wichita County Long Term Care in care of the funeral home.
