Obituary of Glenda Irene Rupp

Glenda I. Rupp, age 79, passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at her home in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on May 11, 1935 in Scott County, Kansas, the daughter of Glen Grafton and Irene Mae Holmes Cunningham. A lifetime resident of Scott City, Kansas, she worked at Security State Bank and was Owner and Operator of Rupp Liquor both in Scott City, Kansas until her retirement. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church of Scott City, Kansas. On December 27, 1954 she married Cletus A. Rupp in Scott City, Kansas. He passed away on September 28, 2012 in Scott City, Kansas. Survivors include her Three Granddaughters - Linn Hatfield of Overland Park, Kansas, Anelise Whitson of Wichita, Kansas, Megan Whitson of Pratt, Kansas, One Grandson - Jakob Whitson of Pratt, Kansas, One Great Granddaughter - Maisy Hatfield of Overland Park, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, One Daughter - Lisa Rupp-Whitson and One Sister - Lola. Funeral Services will be held at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 8, 2014 with Fr. Bernard Felix presiding. Memorials may be given to the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City, Kansas % Price & Sons Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday and 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas.
