It is the way of life for our parents to pass on and join the others who wait for them in Heaven. We children who are left behind are left to mourn the broken link that held us to them for a lifetime. Debbie and Diane, I'm sending you a big hug of condolence and shared sorrow. Your mom was someone who epitomized to me the Scott City spirit: feisty, grounded, artistic, smart and humorous. I'm so happy I knew Corinne and Floyd. Dear Debbie, Diane, Owen and Families, It was such a joy and pleasure to have known Corinne and we are so very sorry to learn of her passing. We will always remember her with such fond memories. We will remember Corinne as a lady with class who had a beautiful sense of style and a smile to match. On our first visit to Scott City, Corinne rolled out the red carpet. Her hospitality was unmatched. She showed us the entire city and county along with all of it's rich history. She also gave us her families history which we throughly enjoyed. We had a wonderful dinner, along with Diane and Owen, at the delicious Majestic Restaurant. We saw the County Fair, the "new" high school building, the Airport, beef tasting at the park, the parade, The Krebs Ranch, and everything in between. Then we had a delicious meal at her home. I will always remember how proud she was to show us around , how proud she was of her upbringing , her city and home, as well she should have been. We learned a lot about Corinne on those trips which made us feel as if we had known her all of our lives. We will miss her and we cherish all our times and memories with her.
