Hampton L. "Hank" Burnett, age 70, passed away at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas, on Thursday, March 2, 2006. He was born on March 14, 1935 in Monticello, Arkansas, the son of John Warder and Velma Pierson Burnett. In 1954 he moved from Monticello, Arkansas to Scott City, Kansas to work as a welder at the Century Refining Co.
Memberships include: First Christian Church Scott City, Kansas
On April 15, 1957, he married Lynda Roush in Clayton, New Mexico. She survives.
Survivors Include: Wife Lynda Burnett Scott City, Kansas Two Sons Woodrow Burnett Garden City, Kansas Michael Burnett Garden City, Kansas Three Daughters Tonja Wheeler Scott City, Kansas Ramona Hoffner Holyoke, Colorado Tracey Lininger Amheist, Colorado Two Brothers David Clinton Burnett Scott City, Kansas Randall Burnett Wilmar, Arkansas One Sister Carolyn Warren Liberal, Kansas Six Grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his Parents, One Brother, and One Sister.
