Obituary of Ervin Schneider

Tribune Ervin Schneider, age 91, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at The Village On Lee Retirement Center in Lawton, Oklahoma. He was born on April 29, 1922 in Stafford, Kansas, the son of Edward Henry and Laura Fritzemeier Schneider. In 1952 he moved to Tribune, Kansas from Stafford, Kansas and was a Farmer, Stockman and Businessman. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Tribune, Kansas serving in numerous capacities. He was also active in the Community Band, Polka Band, AOPA, Kansas Flying Farmers and was an avid pilot and carpenter. On April 29, 1945 he married Marybell Teeters in Stafford, Kansas. She passed away on April 20, 1998 in Tribune, Kansas. On November 19, 1999 he married Doris E. Pierce in Lawton, Oklahoma and they lived in both Tribune, Kansas and Cache, Oklahoma until present. She survives. Survivors Include: Wife Doris E. Schneider of Cache, Oklahoma Two Sons Dennis & Yvonne Schneider of Tribune, Kansas David & Holly Schneider of Tribune, Kansas Three Step Daughters Diane & Bruce Huskey of Waurika, Oklahoma Patricia & John Head of Lawton, Oklahoma Cindy & Paul Prescott of Cache, Oklahoma Eleven Grandchildren Ten Great Grandchildren He was preceded in death by his Parents, Wife - Marybell, One Sister - Velma Koelsch, One Brother - Duane Schneider and One Great Grandson. Funeral Services will be held at the First Baptist Church in Tribune, Kansas at 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 30, 2013 with Shanon Schneider presiding. Interment will be held in the Greeley County Cemetery in Tribune, Kansas. Memorials may be given to the First Baptist Church % Price & Sons Funeral Home Visitation will be at Price & Sons Funeral Home - Tribune, Kansas from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday.
