Obituary of Neva Duncan

Neva Fern Duncan, age 91, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at Wichita County Health Center Long Term Care in Leoti, Kansas. Neva was born April 27, 1922 at the family homestead in Wichita County, Kansas, the daughter of Roy E. & Helen E. Graham Elder. A lifetime resident of Wichita County, Kansas, she was a secretary for several businesses in Leoti as well as a homemaker. Neva was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, VFW Auxiliary and the Rebekah Lodge all of Leoti, Kansas. On Sept 19, 1940 she married Lee Kiefer at Leoti, Kansas. Lee passed away on Sept 29, 1980 at Leoti, Kansas. On April 5, 1984 she married Leland Duncan at Wichita, Kansas. Leland passed away on March 25, 1997 at Leoti, Kansas. Neva's surviving family includes- A son- Lee & Marcia Kiefer- Redmond, Oregon Two grandchildren- Brett & Elizabeth Kiefer- Honolulu, Hawaii Lauren Kiefer- New York, New York Two great grandchildren- Miles Kiefer- Honolulu, Hawaii Xavier Kiefer- Honolulu, Hawaii Her parents, Six brothers and Five sisters precede her in death. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at the First Presbyterian Church in Leoti, Kansas with the Reverend Charles Ayers officiating. Burial will be in Leoti Cemetery in Leoti, Kansas. Friends may call from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm Monday and Tuesday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Leoti, Kansas. Memorials may be given to the Wichita County Health Center or Wichita County Health Center Long Term Care in Leoti in care of the funeral home.
