Obituary of Kennith Yeager

Kennith Allen Yeager, age 89, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2013 at the Ness County Hospital in Ness City, Kansas. He was born on September 18, 1923 in Conrad, Montana, the son of George Lewis and Mary Edith McCurtain Yeager. A resident of Scott County, Kansas since the Fall of 2000 moving from Mattawa, Washington, he was a rancher, farmer and commercial painter. He was member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Scott City, Kansas. On August 8, 1943 he married Lorine Lillian Walston in Conrad, Montana. She survives. Other Survivors Include: Two Sons, Gary K. Yeager of Conrad, Montana and Irvin L. Yeager of Scott City, Kansas; Two Daughters, Karen K. Nelson of Ridgefield, Washington and Julie L. Alexander of Camas, Washington; Twenty-One Grandchildren and Twenty-Seven Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Two Brothers, Donald & Ray Yeager and One Sister, Edith Weikum. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Scott City, Kansas with Bishop James Yager presiding. Friends may call from 6:00-8:00pm on Tuesday at the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas. The burial will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at the Hillside Cemetery in Conrad, Montana. Memorials may be given to the Parkinson's Research Foundation in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Scott City, Kansas.
