Thinking of you at this time and keeping you in our prayers. Remembering the times we all spent together in Geneseo, Ks. while growing up. Fun and memorable times.

Melvin Hunt posted a condolence

Dear Woelk Family: I was saddened to read about Hoagie’s death. He was without doubt a solid citizen of Tribune and Greeley County. My fondest memories of him relate to years ago when I was an Assistant Scout Master. He was part of Troop 37’s venture to a Boy Scout Camp in Colorado. He was a great, conscientious, and reliable young man so it is no surprise that he continued doing many good deeds for BSA, 4-H, and numerous other local activities. I also had the pleasure to meet and mentor one of David’s offspring, Cori, earlier in her career. That too was a rewarding experience for me. Finally, I wish you all as many great memories of David Eugene Woelk as I have. He was a “Good Man!” Melvin Hunt Professor Emeritus, KSU
