Obituary of Elda Franco

Elda Ruth Franco, age 64, died Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at the St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. She was born on February 2, 1949 in St. Clair, Michigan the daughter of James Byron & Cora Alice Daniels McInnis. A resident of Garden City since 1964 she was a homemaker. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church of Lakin, Kansas. On April 27, 1964 she married Guadalupe "Lupe" Franco in Garden City, Kansas. He died May 31, 2013 in Garden City, Kansas. Survivors Include: Two Sons, Tom (& Ronda) Franco of Garden City, Kansas and Lupe Franco Jr. of Lubbock, Texas; Two Daughters, Jacqueline (& Jesus) Gutierrez of Scott City, Kansas and Rebecca (& Raymond) Franklin of Park City, Kansas; Two Sisters, Helen Mesa of Holcomb, Kansas and Alice Guillen of Amarillo, Texas; Sixteen Grandchildren and Ten Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Brenda Morales, and two brothers, James B. & Robert E. McInnis. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, July 8, 2013 at the First United Methodist Church in Garden City, Kansas. Burial will be in the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas. Friends may call from Noon-8:00pm on Sunday @ the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas. Memorials may be given to the Elda Franco Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City, Kansas.
