Obituary of Larry Cutler

Larry L. "Skip" Cutler, age 73, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2013 at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. He was born on January 10, 1940 in Modoc, Kansas, the son of Martin Monroe and Dorothy Ruth Scheuerman Cutler. He was a resident of Willow Springs, Missouri from 1976 until 2003 when he moved back to Scott City, Kansas. He was a farmer and a horseman. In 1964 he started Skip's Seed Plant in Scott City, Kansas. He was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association, Jockey Club and the NRA. Survivors include his One Son - Chris & Amy Cutler of Willow Springs, Missouri, One Daughter - Jamie Bryan of Merriam Woods, Missouri, One Granddaughter - Jimalee Bryan of Merriam Woods, Missouri, One Great Grandson - Colton Bryan of Merriam Woods, Missouri and One Sister In Law - Jeanne Cutler of Scott City, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his Parents, One Daughter - Shelley Cutler, One Brother - Garry Cutler and One Sister - Regina Brown. Funeral Services will be held at the First Christian Church in Scott City, Kansas at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 11, 2013 with the Rev. Scott Wagner. Memorials may be given to the Scott County Indoor Arena % Price & Sons Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas.
