Obituary of Barbara Heili

Barbara H. Heili, age 86, passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2013 at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on January 24, 1927 in Deerfield, Kansas, the daughter of John and Elizabeth Younger Meier. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 1948 moving from Garden City, Kansas, she was a retired Nurse's Aide at the Scott County Hospital and Park Lane Nursing Home both of Scott City, Kansas. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church of Scott City, Kansas. On October 15, 1946 she married W.W. "Wayne" Heili in Garden City, Kansas. He passed away on June 9, 2003 in Scott City, Kansas. Survivors include her Three Sons - Kenneth & Jan Heili of Dighton, Kansas, Donald & Barbara Heili of Garden City, Kansas, Michael & Linda Heili of Edmond, Oklahoma, Two Daughters - Mary Ann & Rod Leatherman of Scott City, Kansas, Dee Heili of Salina, Kansas, Special Friend - Andy Kirk of Salina, Kansas, Thirty Two Grandchildren, Seventeen Great Grandchildren and Seven Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Two Grandsons, Six Brothers and One Sister. Vigil Services will be held at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City, Kansas at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2013. Funeral Services will be held at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City, Kansas at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 4, 2013 with Fr. Bernard Felix presiding. Memorials amy be given to the St. Joseph Catholic Church or Park Lane Nursing Home % Price & Sons Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Wednesday @ Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas.
