Altamae Brown, age 93, passed away on Friday, March 2, 2007 at the Park Lane Nursing Home in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on February 27, 1914 in Kincaid, Kansas, the daughter of Lesley Allen and Maud Elsie Epler Sutton. A lifetime resident of Logan County, Kansas until moving to Scott City, Kansas in 1989. She was a homemaker and was an in home nurse. Memberships include: Church Of The Nazarene Scott City, Kansas Scott County VIP Center Scott City, Kansas Hit & Mis Band Scott City, Kansas 50 Plus Choir Scott City, Kansas Kansas Old Timer Fiddlers & Pickers & Singers On September 24, 1932 she married William G. Brown in Hill City, Kansas. He passed away on June 20, 1987 in Colby, Kansas. Other Survivors: Three Daughters Wilda Weber Scott City, Kansas Willa & Ron Ruth Fanshawe, Oklahoma Jessie Mae & Dwaine Shawver Cleburne, Texas Two Brothers Clair Sutton Lyons, Kansas Dee Jay Sutton St. Louis, Missouri Two Sisters Allie Voelker Fort Dodge, Kansas Alice Sutton Garden City, Kansas Fourteen Grandchildren Thirty Nine Great Grandchildren Sixteen Great Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Two Sons â infant & Murry, Four Grandsons, and Four Great Grandchildren.
