George was one of my long time friends and we had so much fun along with Don Hedges and all the gang down at Presto's. People probably though we were a little bit tilted to the back some of the things we would do. We were always giving each other a going over in fun and boy we had so much fun. It has really been a void in my life without him. I knew George ever since he went to work for Bud Grube and Liz at the filling station. Again we have lost a true and good friend. He is really missed.

Sheila and Shauna and families: your dad was so proud of you all! It has been a long, long time since I spoke with him but I do think of him and your family often. When I decided to learn golf, he gave me Shauna's first set! George was the sweetest man ever. So sad for you Girls, and hope you will find comfort in your memories! Hugs, Nancy

I have lost another great friend in George. I have known George ever since he came to Scott City and worked for Grube's filling station. I went to school with his wife. Over the years George has been such a great friend but the last years since I retired and have been going to Presto's for a break and along with Don Hedges and Don Weichman we have had such a close friendship and now we have lost 2 great friends. I will miss him so much but have such good memories of our friendship. Thanks for those memories George.

Sheila, Shawna and family. Darrel and I we so sorry to hear that George had passed away. He was a very special person, always had a smile on his face and a kind word for anyone. We enjoyed him so much and loved to watch him and his buddies play golf every day. Even though it's so hard to lose him, I know Aletha is so glad to see him. They were truly "Lovebirds forever". Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. Darrel and Pam

Shelia, Shauna & families, words cannot express the sadness and pain I feel today. Uncle George was a great man in all facets of life. I was truly blessed to have him as an uncle. Even though we were far apart, the good ole internet kept us close. I enjoyed exchanging emails with Uncle George and bantering worldly subjects such as my White Sox, his Royals, and our golf games, and not to forget to mention the weekly or so dose of jokes. I truly loved him. You guys take care. RIP Uncle George.

Sheila and Shauna I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. He was like a big brother when we were growing up and always took time to come see us when we came home for the Holidays. He was a great person and I know all your memories will keep him close to you.
