I had very fond memeories of Joyce growing up. I joined the Pleasant Valley Boosters when I was in 3rd grade and one of my favorite projects was cooking with Joyce and Cynthia out on their farm by Pleasant Valley. Whenever I was visiting my grandparents (Jack and Shirley Rickford), I would sometimes go on a run down by Charlie and Joyce's farm and you could always expect a friendly wave when they were out doing chores. Joyce will be missed by many folks in Wichita County and my deepest regards go to her family.

Cousins Joyce and Mary Lee would come visit when we were all just little girls. As entertainment our mother would let us have Sears and Roebuck catalogs and round nosed scissors and we would spend hours cutting the models pictures out and then sit and play paperdolls by the hour. There was always a mess of paper clippings left behind that Mother would clean up, she never seemed to be upset with the mess.

Dearest Uncle Charles and our Cousins We are so sorry your Mom had to be so ill. We pray for you, may you have peace and the Lords BLESSINGS. We loved that sweet Mom of yours, she was so cheerful and optimistic, she made you feel better when you were trying to help her and cheer up her day. I loved her spirituallity and her love for Heavenly Father. She taught you all well. We miss being there the storm and the miles cheated us of a sweet experience and chance to give you all hugs. Loving and thinking of you at this difficult time. Love Julene and Harry Rindlisbacher

Cynthia and Family ~ Our hearts ache for all of you as you celebrate the life of a wonderful woman. Though we did not know your mother, Cynthia, we feel like we knew her a little through your stories and sharing. Her obituary is wonderful, and clearly highlights a life dedicated to giving to her family and others. Wish we could be there in person with you and give you our hugs and love. Know that we will be waiting for you when you return home. May God's unending peace fill your hearts and may your wonderful memories bring you comfort. We are praying for you. Love, Kent and Julie
