My condolescences to a very special lady. I know that at this time you are rejoicing in your heavenly home. You looked forward to when you could be with Ben ever since he passed away. When I think about my past interactions with you, most of the time it was with your Bible in your hand, as you were coming to Bible Study times. Usually you were rather quiet, but when you shared it was shared from your heart. After Bible Study was over, you would stay and talk a little while, always asking about my family and how I was doing. Your family was so dear to you and you loved to share how everyone was doing. As far as the children and grandchildren were concerned, your eyes lit up when any of their names were mentioned. Your life with Ben was a life of sharing with others. I can remember going to church potlucks and always wanting to get a piece of your delicious pie before it was all gone. Many of us at Garden Valley enjoyed the good home cooking that you always brought to share. One of the memories I have of you and Ben was when we had fundraisers at the Christian School where I was working. You would come to the fundraisers and always give a nice donation to help keep the school afloat. God had blessed you financially, and you used that blessing to bless others. Thank you, Helen, for touching my life and leaving me such an exemplary life to follow. I’ll miss you, but am celebrating with you the reunion that you are now experiencing in your heavenly home.
