Obituary of Florence Yocum

Florence Anna Yocum, age 84, died Tuesday, January 2, 2013 at the Legacy @ Park View in Ulysses, Kansas. She was born on May 7, 1928 in Prairie Home, Nebraska the daughter of Bernard and Lydia McColm Toland. She was a homemaker and had been a resident of Garden City since 1950. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church of Lamar, Colorado. On August 7, 1963 she married Charles Yocum in Garden City, Kansas. He died November 25, 2006 in Garden City, Kansas. Survivors Include: One Brother, Edward Toland of Garden City, Kansas and One Sister, Evelyn Welch of Lamar, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her parents and Seven Brothers. Graveside Services will be held at 3:00pm on Friday, January 4, 2013 at the Lakin Cemetery in Lakin, Kansas. Friends may call from 10:00am-2:00pm at the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas. Memorials may be given to the Florence Yocum Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City, Kansas.
