Obituary of Margaret Green

Margaret "Marg" Green, age 91, passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2012 at Wichita County Long Term Care in Leoti, Kansas. Marg was born September 19, 1921 at Mount Harris, Colorado, the daughter of John Henry and Barbara Annie Robertson Prosser. A resident of Leoti, Kansas since 1930, she was a homemaker.
Marg was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Presbyterian Ladies, Omiyage and The Eastern Star all of Leoti, Kansas. She was also an avid bridge player.
On February 29, 1944, she married V.R. "Barney" Green at Pensacola, Florida. He passed away on October 9, 2007 at Leoti, Kansas
Marg's surviving family includes-
Three sons
Jack & Judy Green- Scottsdale, Arizona
Jim & Cheryl Green- Leoti, Kansas
Steve & Wanda Green- Canyon, Texas
Six grandchildren and Eleven Great Grandchildren
Her parents, husband, two sisters, Jean Case and Bessie Kirk and a Grandson, John Green, preceded her in death.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 3, 2012 at the First Presbyterian Church in Leoti, Kansas with Reverend Paul McNall officiating. Inurnment will be in Leoti Cemetery in Leoti, Kansas.
There will be no visitation.
Memorials may be sent to Wichita County Long Term Care or the First Presbyterian Church in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home in Leoti, Kansas.
