Obituary of Evelyn Hutchins

Evelyn I. Hutchins, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on June 28, 1932 in Scott City, Kansas, the daughter of Martin and Maude Briggs Hopper. A lifetime resident of Scott City, Kansas, she was a homemaker and was an owner and operator of a local antique store. On June 1, 1950 she married Eugene D. Hutchins in Dodge City, Kansas. He survives. Survivors include her Husband - Eugene D. Hutchins of Scott City, Kansas, One Sons - Alan & Lois Hutchins of Kansas City, Missouri, Three Daughters - Dorsi & Bob Cupp of Dighton, Kansas, Julie Hutchins of Scott City, Kansas, Becky Hutchins of Scott City, Kansas, Two Sisters - Joyce Ramsey of Scott City, Kansas, Sue & Chuck Parmer of Great Bend, Kansas, 5 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents, One Son - Stanley Hutchins and One Brother - Morris Hopper. Funeral Services will be held First Baptist Church in Scott City, Kansas at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 27, 2012 with Rev. Kyle Evans presiding. Memorials in Lieu Of Flowers may be given to the Evelyn Hutchins Memorial Fund % Price & Sons Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas.
