To Doris's kids, I wanted you to know what a special lady your mom was in the life of my mother, Bettie Owen. She was a true friend at a time when Mom needed it. Susan, Brad and family, Words cannot express the sympathy I am feeling for you. Doris was such a joy to be around I am going to miss her most at church she always had a great smile and warm hand. Wow, sure am going to miss Doris coming to the "Tea Parties" - what a priviledge it has been to have her in my life since I came to Scott City. She is special - my heart is broken for her family...Rest well, my friend and keep those parties going in Heaven with the others that went before us....
