I tryed to get on the site to reply to your Mothers passing but was not able to find where to write. Hope you see this. I know the last year ans been hard on you all. Sometimes it just does not seem real. She may be gone but not forgetten. I will always remember Jeannine working in the Soda Fountain. Her pretty red hair and your Grandparents dressed her in beautiful clothes. She always turned alot of heads when she walked down the streets of Scott City. So pretty and proper. We played alot of games as kids Like "kick the Can" and when we got older we had our good ole solfball games. Had lotss of fun doing that even all we were married with kids. I am not sure when Jeannine hung up her glove but I hung mine up when my girls were old enought to play against me in the wemen league. I did not whant to have to beat my girls team so that is when I hung mine up and probable that is about the time your Mother did hers. Things we give up for our KIDS...........Of course maybe the aches and pains in our bodies had something to do with it too. The first reason makes me feel better tho Hope you and your families are doing well and lets keep in touch...............
Starla so sorry about your Mother. I am very sorry that I was not here to attend her services. You all were in our thoughts and prayers and still are. Time does heal. God bless you all.
Jeannine was such a kind person and had a really sweet smile and sweet spirit. She will be greatly missed. Thoughts and prayers with the whole family at this time of loss.
So sad to hear of your mom's passing. She was such a remarkable, classy and beautiful lady. I have many good memories from my early childhood days at your house. I can still hear her say my nickname. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless you and comfort you. Sending you my hugs & sympathy. Love & prayers, Tootsie
