Obituary of Cletus Rupp

Cletus A. Rupp, age 77, passed away at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas on Friday, September 28, 2012. He was born on January 23, 1935 in Ness County, Kansas, the son of John H. And Katherine Elizabeth Pfannenstiel Rupp. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 1954 moving from Ness County, Kansas, he was an Electrical Contractor before becoming the owner and operator of Rupp Retail Liquor in Scott City. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Knights Of Columbus #5212 both in Scott City, Kansas. On December 27, 1954 he married Glenda I. Cunningham in Scott City, Kansas. She survives. Survivors include his Wife - Glenda Rupp of Scott City, Kansas, One Grandson - Jakob Whitson of Wichita, Kansas, Two Granddaughters - Linn Hatfield of Kansas City, Kansas, Anelise Whitson of Wichita, Kansas, One Twin Sister - Cleta Rupp-Lee of Mesa, Arizona and Many Cousins. He was preceded in death by his Parents and One Daughter - Lisa Rupp-Whitson. Vigil Service will be at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City, Kansas at 7:00 p.m. Monday, October 1, 2012. Funeral Services will be held at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City, Kansas, 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 2, 2012 with Fr. Bernard Felix presiding. Memorials may be given to the Knights Of Columbus % Price & Sons Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday and 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Monday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas.
