Obituary of Dorothy Waldren

Dorothy Marie Waldren, age 87, passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at Greeley County Health Center in Tribune, Kansas. Dorothy was born November 6, 1924 at Wetmore, Colorado, the daughter of Virgil & Leah Martin Barrow. A resident of Greeley County since the mid 1930's, she was a 1942 graduate of Greeley County High School. Dorothy was a homemaker, mother, decorator and an avid gardener and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Tribune, Kansas, however, some of her greatest joy came from playing country music with her husband of sixty- three years, Dee. On June 16, 1944, Dorothy married D.D. Waldren at Tribune, Kansas. D.D. passed away on August 19, 2007 at Tribune, Kansas. Dorothy's surviving family includes- One son Malloy D. Waldren- Tribune, Kansas Lana Marie Waldren- Oklahoma City, Oklahoma One nephew and his wife- Patrick & Shannon Morse- Dodge City, Kansas Two great nephews Logan Morse- Dodge City, Kansas Conner Morse- Dodge City, Kansas Her parents, husband, a sister, Peggy Morse, and a brother- in- law, LeRoy Morse, precede her in death. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am ( MST) Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Greeley County Cemetery in Tribune, Kansas with the Reverend Mark Randolph officiating. Friends may call from Noon until 8:00 pm Thursday and from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm Friday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Tribune, Kansas. Memorials may be given to the Greeley County EMT's in care of the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to the family through the funeral home website at priceandsons.com
