We were so sad to read Sandra's obituary in the Tribune paper. Although it has been over 30 years since we left Tribune I still think of her and your Dad often. I remember all of you children in our high school Sunday school class and being in your Mom's Bible studies. Know that all of you are in our thoughts and conversations and we think of you with love and sorrow over Sandra's passing.

Sandra and I grew up across the street from each other in Scott City and were in the same class in high school. I remember her romance with Gordon and how beautiful she was, a natural blond before it became fashionable to bleach hair. I am so sorry to hear of her death and extend my sympathies to her children. We are so sorry for the loss. We think of your family and pray for you. I know she was special to all of you and very special to God. Do not stand by her grave and weep....She is not there. She did not die. She lives with the Risen Lord! She is not there and does not sleep. She is a thousand winds that blow, a diamond glint on the snow, the sunlight on ripened grain and the gentle autumn rain.

I am truly sorry to hear about Sandra. We go back a long time in high school. We had some really good times together. She was always smiling and an adorable laugh. I was also good friends with her family. Her dad used to take the basketball team to Kansas City to watch the big 10 teams play. As we grow older and loose someone we know and love, a part of us also dies. She will always be remembered as a wonderful person. God has a s pecial place for her in heaven. I have truly lost a friend. God bless.

I am so sorry to hear about your beautiful, talented Mom, grandma, sister, aunt and friend. I remember Sandra with many smiles as I was growing up and our families spent many Sunday's together. I loved her smile and her laugh and all of the things that she shared through the years. My thoughts and prayers have been with you all the last week and will continue on in the months ahead. I was so glad to hear that most of you got to be with her until she returned home. You kids and grandkids meant the world to her. I wish I could be there for the funeral, but will be out of the states then. Please know that you all will be in my thoughts on that day. Hugs and love to you all!

I was sorry to hear of your Mom's death. I remember her well. She was a wonderful woman. I lost my Mom 2 years ago. It was very hard. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Try to remember all the good times you had with her and your father.
