Obituary of Lenora Rocha

Lenora Rocha, age 68, passed away on Monday, July 23, 2012 at Wellington, Kansas. Lenora was born April 9, 1943 at Post, Texas, the daughter of Vicente Ben & Mary Hilda Rangel Hernandez. A resident of Leoti, Kansas since 1985 moving from Fairbanks, Alaska, she was a retired CNA at Wichita County Health Center and Long Term Care in Leoti, Kansas. Lenora was raised in the Baptist Church in Post, Texas On May 5, 1985, she married Amado Rocha at Tribune, Kansas. Lenora's surviving family includes- Her husband- Amado Rocha- Leoti, Kansas Five children- Ruth Proa- Leoti, Kansas Susana Martinez- Garden City, Kansas Debbie Chavez- Leoti, Kansas Lewis Zamora- Fairbanks, Alaska Thomas Samora- Honolulu, Hawaii Six siblings- Geneva Carizales- Dumas, Texas Lupe Lopez- Scott City, Kansas Paul Hernandez- Scott City, Kansas Butch Hernandez- Scott City, Kansas Ben Hernandez- Lubbock, Texas Jimmy Hernandez- Leoti, Kansas Nineteen grandchildren, Twenty six great grandchildren Her parents and three brothers precede her in death Funeral services will be held at 8:00 a.m. Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Christ Covenant Church in Leoti, Kansas with Reverend John Wayne Valdivia officiating. Burial will be in Leoti Cemetery in Leoti, Kansas. Friends may call from 5:00 pm until 8:00 p.m. Thursday and from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Leoti, Kansas. Memorials may be given to the Lenora Rocha Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
