Obituary of Elvin Samuelson

Elvin Samuelson, age 88, passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at the Greeley County Hospital in Tribune, Kansas. He was born on February 9, 1924 in Thomas County, Kansas, the son of Ernest and Myrtle M. Frazier Samuelson. A resident of Greeley County and Tribune, Kansas, since 1930 moving from Wallace County, Kansas, he was a Farmer, Stockman and Cowboy. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Tribune, Kansas. On July 10, 1969 he married Bertha Will in Syracuse, Kansas. She passed away on September 13, 1995 in Tribune, Kansas. Survivors Include Three Step Daughters - Marlene Stephens of Kincaid, Kansas, Jean Eveatt of La Junta, Colorado, Peggy Horn of La Junta, Colorado, One Niece - Helen Jacobus of Tribune, Kansas, Nine Step Grandchildren and Ten Step Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Wife, One Sister - Letha Russell and One Niece - Louise Jacobus. Funeral Services will be held at the United Methodist Church in Tribune, Kansas at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 19, 2012 with the Rev. Les Ellis & Rev. Larry Barbary presiding. Interment will be in the Greeley County Cemetery in Tribune, Kansas. Memorials may be given to the United Methodist Church in Tribune, Kansas % Price & Sons Funeral Home. Visitation will be at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Tribune, Kansas from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday.
