Obituary of Michael Kelly

Garden City, Kansas Michael E. Kelly, age 62, died Thursday, June 14, 2012 at the St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. He was born on January 24, 1950 in Savannah, Georgia the son of Harold and Josephine Bavuso Kelly. Michael grew up in Beloit, Kansas and in 2007 moved to Garden City where he was the owner and operator of Kelly Financial Services. He was a member of the catholic faith and of the Secular Franciscans and he served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era. On April 21, 1989 he married Cindy M. Sramek in Lawrence, Kansas. She survives. Other Survivors Include: One Daughter, Anne Kelly Marley of Torrington, Connecticut; Three Brothers, Robert Kelly of Hays, Kansas, Steve Kelly of Liberty, Missouri, and Jim Kelly of Beloit, Kansas; Two Sisters, Pat Monte of Nickerson, Kansas and Carla Auldridge of Castle Rock, Colorado and Three Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and a grandson. Graveside Services were held at 2:00pm on Friday, June 15, 2012 at the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas. Memorials may be given to the Garden City Animal Shelter in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City, Kansas.
