Obituary of Dean Bauer

Dean C. Bauer, age 50, passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. He was born on May 13, 1962 in Garden City, Kansas, the son of Raymond & Evelyn Dougherty Bauer. A lifetime resident of Scott County, Kansas, he was head of maintenance at Poky Feeders in Scott City, Kansas for 22 years. He was a member of the El Quartelejo Saddle Club of Scott City, Kansas. On October 17, 1987 he married Sharon McGrath in Friend, Kansas. She survives. Survivors include his Wife - Sharon Bauer of Scott City, Kansas, One Daughter - Shealene "Stubby" Bauer of Scott City, Kansas, One Step Daughter - Jessica Mollenkamp of Goodland, Kansas, One Brother - Ron & Barb Bauer of Meade, Kansas, One Grandson - Kaden Murray of Goodland, Kansas, Eight Nieces and Two Nephews. He was preceded in death by his Father - Raymond Bauer. Funeral Services will be held at the First Christian Church in Scott City, Kansas at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 18, 2012 with Larry Taylor and Rev. Jon Tuttle officiating. Memorials may be given to the Dean Bauer Memorial Fund% Price & Sons Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 2:00p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday and 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Friday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City.
