Obituary of Alfred Becker

Garden City, Kansas Alfred Lewis Becker Jr., age 82, died Saturday, April 21, 2012 at his home in Holcomb, Kansas. He was born on November 26, 1929 in Garden City, Kansas the son of Alfred Lewis Sr. and Maude E. Oldfather Becker. He was a farmer, had been a lifetime Holcomb resident and served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. On November 4, 1950 he married Darlene D. Pulkrabek in Garden City, Kansas. She died Feb. 22, 2007 in Wichita, Kansas. Survivors Include: Three Sons, Darris L. Becker of Holcomb, Kansas, Terry L. Becker of Holcomb, Kansas and Randy D. Becker of Garden City, Kansas; Two Daughters, Rhonda J. Conley of Holcomb, Kansas and Shellie Morehouse of Holcomb, Kansas; One Brother, Danny Becker of Garden City, Kansas; One Sister, Janet Hinsel of Florida; Ten Grandchildren and Eleven Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by Two Brothers, Norman & Charles Becker and Six Sisters, Vera Mae Becker, Norma Becker, Nona Hermes, Beth Novy, Alice Knoll & Joyce Boyd. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30am on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas. Friends may call from 10:00am-8:00pm Tuesday @ the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas. Interment will be in the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas. The family requests memorials be given to Alzheimers Association or to the American Heart Association both in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City, Kansas.
