Obituary of Glenn Nonnamaker

Glenn A. Nonnamaker, age85, passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. He was born on August 20, 1926 in Grainfield, Kansas, the son of George Graham and Clara Belle Meek Nonnamaker. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 1939 moving from Grainfield, Kansas, he was a rancher. Glenn was a US Army Veteran of World War II. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Scott City, Kansas. His other memberships include the NRA and NMC. Survivors include his Four Sons - Robert Hershfield of Sudbury, Massachusetts, Glenn Charles Nonnamaker of Scott City, Kansas, Derek Nonnamaker of Dayton, Nevada, Bron Nonnamaker of Carson City, Nevada, One Daughter - Bridget Anderson of Scott City, Kansas, Five Grandchildren including Bronwen Anderson of Hutchinson, Kansas and One Great Granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his Parents, and Two Sisters - Clara Belle Vulgamore and Alice Louise Estes. A Private Family Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given to the Glenn A. Nonnamaker Memorial Fund % Price & Sons Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Wednesday and 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Thursday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City.
