Sharon Kay Brown, age 55, died on Monday, April 2, 2012 at her home in Garden City, Kansas. She was born on July 9, 1956 in LaJunta, Colorado the daughter of Virginia Nelson. She was later adopted by Harry & Mary Nelson. A resident of Garden City, Kansas since 2004 she was a certified nurses assistant.
She is survived by:
Her Husband, T.J. Brown of Garden City, Kansas;
One Son, Joseph R. Hernandez of Lamar, Colorado;
One Daughter, Jineena K. Gehrer of Lamar, Colorado;
Her Father, Harry Nelson of Rocky Ford, Colorado;
One Brother, Charles Eden of Oklahoma;
Two Sisters, Tamela Bell of Surprise, Arizona and
Pamela Russell of Surprise, Arizona and
Eight Grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be given to the Kay Brown Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home.
There is no visitation at the funeral home.
Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City is in charge of arrangements.
