Victor and I got to know each other while we were both going to college in Liberal and working together at Standard Supply. When we graduated, we got busy doing other things and didn't keep in contact like we use to, but we would text each other from time to time just to check in and see how things were going. I remember one Saturday, I was working and my phone started ringing. I looked down and noticed that it was Victor. That made me a little worried because as I mentioned, we texted to keep in touch, so I thought something must have really been wrong to warrant a phone call. I frantically answered the phone and Victor said," I have a really...weird question to ask you." He went on to tell me about how a friend's donkey had been bit by a rattle snake and the poor donkey's nose was so swollen that it was having difficulty breathing and eating. He called to ask me what I thought his friend should do to take care of the swelling. First, I was relieved to know that something wasn't seriously wrong, not to discount the severity of the condition of the donkey. Secondly, I was amused because I couldn't for the life of me think of why Victor would call me of all people because I have never owned a donkey. Furthermore, I have never been around a donkey with a snake bite to know how to handle it. So, I gave him my best idea of what to do, assuring him not to bet the farm on my not so sage advice. He laughed and thanked me. Several weeks had passed and I hadn't heard anything about the poor donkey. So I texted Vic to ask how things turned out, thinking the worst to myself. He told me that the donkey was fine and it was like nothing had ever happened. Since I have known Vic, if something was ever wrong with anyone he cared about, he would do anything in his power to take care of them without a second thought. He was the kindest hearted, most sincere person I have ever had the privilege of calling a friend. He will be greatly missed, but Heaven gained a priceless asset to have for all eternity.

My sincere condolences to you in the loss of one of the sweetest, happiest young men I ever had the privilege to know. Victor was my daughter, Jacki's neighbor in Turpin, so I had a lot of opportunities to visit with him and get to know him quite well. Victor was always the life of the party and will be very missed this Summer. It just won't be the same in the swimming pool without him! My prayers are with you, as I can't imagine losing a child so young. He will be waiting for all of us in Heaven with that beautiful smile on his face.

My heart goes out to Victor's family in the tragic time. Victor was a wonderful young man. I had the honor of being one of Victor's instructors at SWKTS and a co-worker at Gatlin Auction. I will always remember how his smile would brighten the day, and his presence would enliven any situation. He left a life-long mark on my heart. May our Lord and Saviour provide abundent comfort and peace to you. I look forward to the day when we will see that big grin again in Heaven.

I am so sorry that your family is going throught this awful pain. Vic was truly an amazing, caring, generous person! In the small community we live in, everyone knew who Vic was. Whether it be through his sparkling eyes, contagious smile or him driving his monster stroker around town, we all knew it was him. I am so saddened to drive by his house, or just know I won't run into him at the little store anymore. Vic made such an impact on so manly people and he will definately not be forgotten! May you all receive comfort and know that he is still walking beside each and everyone of you. Kalee, you are such a strong and beautiful woman and I truly believe Vic showed you how strong you really are! Don't ever forget that. God had his plan to have him in your life and you will one day see it. Stay strong BEAUTIFUL!

To the family of Victor...I say you have my deepest sympathy, my heart hurts that such a young life has been called. Victor was such a fun young man with a great smile to work with...we both worked for Gatlin Auction and had laughs. I must say our journey here upon earth is but only a temporary one and Victor has now stepped on the path of his everlasting journey with our Lord Jesus Christ and now has the most loving arms wrapped around him in his eternal home that is filled with love. Angels all around us, he is now and always will be your angel. My prayers for all of you. He is missed!!

I offer my deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy for Victor's family - especially to my cousin Melodie Rauch (Wendt), my dear sweet cousin and his Mother. Victor is just a year older than my own daughter and I can't even imagine the pain and sorrow that his family is going through. I pray the dear Lord, in His infinite Wisdom and Mercy, give you all comfort through His Holy Spirit. God bless and keep you all. I know your faith in Jesus is real and strong and that someday all of us will have a most joyous and forever family reunion. Until that time - I offer my love and prayers to you now as you go through this sad time. Love, Weylin
