Obituary of Terra Renee & Cassie Linn Murphy

Terra Renee Murphy, age 8, passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Via Christi St. Francis Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. She was born on July 27, 2003, in Goodland, Kansas, the daughter of Jeffrey Wayne Murphy and Branda Renee Beckner-Murphy. She was a resident of Scott City, Kansas since 2005. Cassie Linn Murphy, age 6, passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on January 17, 2006 in Scott City, Kansas, the daughter of Jeffery Wayne Murphy and Branda Renee Beckner. She was a lifetime resident of Scott City, Kansas. They were members of the Nazarene Church, and the El Quartelejo Saddle Club both of Scott City, Kansas. Survivors include: Father , Jeffrey Murphy of Scott City, Kansas; Mother, Branda Beckner of Scott City, Kansas; Step Father, Rylan Smith of Scott City, Kansas; One Brother, Clayton Smith of Scott City, Kansas; Grandparents, Mike Beckner and girlfriend of Goodland, Kansas, Rhonda Beckner and boyfriend of Goodland, Kansas, Dennis and Vicky Murphy of Healy, Kansas; Great Grand Mother, Frances Beckner of Goodland, Kansas; Great Grand Father, Jim Martin of Dodge City, Kansas; Step Grand Mother, Darci Wren of Scott City, Kansas; Step Grand Father, Mike Smith of Scott City, Kansas; Step Grand Father, Burton Rose of Scott City, Kansas; Uncle, Justin Beckner of Goodland, Kansas; Aunt, Terri Murphy of Healy, Kansas; Uncle & Aunt, Mike & Laura Murphy of Oakley, Kansas, and many other Aunts, uncles, and Cousins. They were preceded in death by Grandparents - Joy Martin, Leo & Eileen Murphy, Ron & Glenda Weehunt, and Leroy Beckner, Jackie Coberly and Brandon Carter. Funeral Service will be held at the First Baptist Church, 803 College in Scott City, Kansas at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 16, 2012, with Pastor Kyle Evans and Pastor Ward Clinton officiating. Interment will be held at the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas. Memorials may be given to the Terra & Cassie Murphy Memorial Fund % Price & Sons Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 pm Tuesday, March 11, 2012, 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2012, 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Thursday, March 13, 2012.
