Charles E. Yocum, age 80, died Saturday, November 25, 2006 at his home in Garden City, Kansas. He was born August 7, 1926 in Buttle, Nebraska the son of James P. and Zenith LealhunanYocum. A resident of Garden City since 1959 moving from Oklahoma he was an oil and water well driller.
On August 7, 1963 he married Florence A. Toland @ Pueblo, Colorado. She survives.
Graveside Services will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, November 27, 2006 at the Lakin Cemetery in Lakin, Kansas with Rev. Jon Becker presiding.
Memorials may be given to the Charles Yocum Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City.
