William H. Robinson, Age 87, died Thurs., August 18, 2005 @ the Webco Manor Nursing Home in Marshfield, MO. He was born Dec. 8, 1917 @ Mondamin, IA the son of William Earl and Ruby Erma Cooper Robinson. During WWII he was a B-26 Bomber Pilot serving with the US Army Air Corps. A resident of Marshfield since 2002 moving from Garden City he had been a pump operator for Northern Natural Gas Company.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the American Legion and the Elks Lodge all of Garden City.
In October of 1946 he married Evelyn "Lynn" Brannon. She died in January of 1974. Then on September 20, 1975 he married Sally Spencer @ Walsenburg, Colorado. She died August 3, 1995 @ Wichita, Kansas.
Survivors include: 3 Sons - Wm. Gary Robinson, Marshfield, Missouri - Douglas A. Robinson, Denver, Colorado - Mark W. Robinson, Walsenburg, Colorado - 2 Step-Daughters - Joy Farr, Denver, Colorado - Leslie Hodson, Liberal, Kansas - 1 Brother - Mervin Robinson, Garden City, Kansas - 1 Sister - Virginia Patterson, Garden City, Kansas - 8 Grandchildren & 13 Great-Grandchildren
He was preceded in death by 2 Brothers â Dale K. and George L. Robinson and 1 Sister â Bonnie L. Winter.
Funeral Services will be held @ 10:00AM, on Monday, August 22, 2205 @ the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas with Rev. Robert Cousins officiating.
Friends may call from 3-5pm on Sunday and from 9:00am until service time on Monday @ the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City.
Interment will be in the Sunset Memorial Gardens â Garden City
