Obituary of Emma Anna Showalter
Emma Anna Showalter, age 85, passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at The Shepherd’s Center in Cimarron, Kansas. She was born on March 19, 1937 in Ness City, Kansas, the daughter of Mathias Nicholas and Thresia M. Fehrenback Opat. In 1998 she moved from Springdale, Arkansas to Garden City, Kansas and then to Cimarron, Kansas in 2020. She was a department manger for Wal-Mart.
She was a member of the St. Mary Catholic Church in Garden City, Kansas.
On February 28, 1959 she married Clark Marion Showalter Sr. in Haysville, Kansas. He passed away on December 26, 2012 in Apache Junction, Arizona.
Survivors include her Two Sons - Mark N. Showalter of Garden City, Kansas, Clark M. & Linda Showalter Jr. of Springdale, Arkansas, Two Daughters - Theresa L. & Kevin Yott of Apache Junction, Arizona, and Cheryl E. Pelton of Gilbert, Arizona, Three Grandchildren and One Great Grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, and Two Brothers
Private Family services will be held at a later date and time.

There will be no calling times.
Inurnment will be in the Saint Ignatius Cemetery in Ness County, Kansas.
