Obituary of Cecil Charles Hintz

Cecil Charles Hintz, age 50, lost his battle with cancer on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, surrounded by his family in Belden, Nebraska.  He was born on June 1, 1971, in Scott City, Kansas, the son of Kenneth Earl & Juanita Eileen Mae Phillips Hintz.  A long-time resident of Scott City, Kansas, he was an independent contractor for floor covering.

Survivors include his Two Sons - Scott & Alli Williams of Spring Hill, Kansas & Jonus Williams of Topeka Kansas, Father & wife - Ken & Cheri Hintz of Belden, Nebraska, Two Sisters - Sandy Weaver of Scott City, Kansas & Lorinda Hille & Matt Held of Norfolk, Nebraska, Two Brothers - Jason Enderton of Leoti, Kansas & Layne & Niki Stark of Lincoln, Nebraska, Four Nieces - Saundra Weaver & Josh Dirks of Scott City Kansas, Ashlee Sauer of Dallas, Texas, Jade & Ryan Olden of Lincoln, Nebraska, Jordon Stark of Omaha, Nebraska, Breann Held of Norfolk Nebraska, Four Nephews - Justin Sauer of Scott City, Kansas, Tristan Hille of Norfolk, Nebraska, Dominic & Jamie Stark of Omaha, Nebraska, Preston Held of Norfolk, Nebraska, Three Great Nieces - Kayleen Bradford of Scott City, Kansas, Gabriella Ramos of Dallas, Texas, McKinley Stark of Omaha Nebraska, One Great Nephew - Kayson Summers of Scott City Kansas, and many other family, extended family, and friends.

He is preceded in death by His Fiancé - Sharri Long, Mother - Juanita Phillips, Grandparents - Cecil & Mabel Phillips, Charles & Lois Hintz, Three Uncles - Chuck, Leroy & Butch Hintz, One Aunt - Jan Phillips, Two Cousins - David Grund, Brandon Phillips, Friends - Jimmy Weasel & Todd MacDonnell, Step Grandparents - Kermit & Lois Graf, and One Uncle - Terry Graf.

Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 26, 2022, at the First Baptist Church in Scott City, Kansas with the Rev. Kyle Evans presiding.

Memorials can be made to the Cecil Hintz Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home,

Inurnment will be held at later date.
