Obituary of Andy Riojas
Andrew “Andy” Riojas, age 44, also known as Andres, passed away at his home on Sunday, March 6, 2022, in Dumas, Texas. He was born on June 27, 1977 in Powell, Wyoming, the son of Agapito Riojas Sr. and Maria Socorro Calderon Riojas. A lifetime resident of Garden City, Kansas until he recently moved to Dumas, Texas where he worked for Dumas Lumber.
Andy was a football fan, especially the Chicago Bears. He enjoyed cooking and hanging with family & friends and loved his children, brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.
Survivors include his One Son - Jonathan Agraz of Wichita, Kansas, Four Daughters - Briana Riojas of Garden City, Kansas, Angelica Riojas of Wichita, Kansas, Jessica Riojas of Wichita, Kansas, Isabel Riojas of Wichita, Kansas, Mother - Maria Socorro Riojas of Garden City, Kansas, Four Brothers - Pete Riojas Jr. of Garden City, Kansas, Frank Riojas of Garden City, Kansas, Mark Anthony Riojas of Lansing, Kansas, Adrian Leon Riojas of Billings, Montana, Four Sisters - Norma Gonzales of Garden City, Kansas, Julie Urias of Odessa, Texas, Mary Jane Riojas of Billings, Montana, Sandra Rincones of Garden City, Kansas, and Eight Grandchildren.
Andy was proceded in death by his Father - Agapito Riojas Sr, and Two Brothers - Manuel Riojas and Johnny Riojas.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 14, 2022, at 1:00 P.M. at Price & Sons Funeral Home, 620 N. Main Street, Garden City, Kansas, 67846 with Pastor Joshua Flores presiding.
