Bob was my children's and grandchildren's teacher. Our son, Heath, has a biology degree and I'm sure Bob was responsible for that. I worked in the superintendent's office and so enjoyed visiting with him when he would come to the office. Biology Bob will be missed and I feel blessed to have known him. Praying for your family. Truly, an amazing and outstanding teacher, as well as a great friend, colleague, and person. I always have fond thoughts and memories of my time with Biology Bob at Holcomb. He meant so much to so many of us. He will be missed, but my memories of Bob will live forever.
I had A&P 1&2 with Mr. Wilson in 2002. I enjoyed his class very much. He made learning for me so easy with the laughter and joking as he taught. R.I.P. Mr Wilson. Prayers for his family.
I rode to school with Biology Bob in the late 70’s from Garden City to Holcomb. People freak out at this thought now, but we used to take our shotguns along during pheasant season and go north once in a while to where my dad had milo stubble to hunt pheasants! He was a great teacher and mentor…one of the people who helped inspire me to want to be an educator also. Kip Nichols
